Los Compadres

It’s for the family! Offering specialty items since September 1, 1990, Los Compadres is the Normaltown grocer. One of the founders of Los Compadres is Manuel Robledo, co-founder of Agua Linda and father of Elva Silis, who is the manager of Los Compadres. With a strong Hispanic customer base, they offer items not found in the regular grocery store. According to Elva, some of the products come from the following locations: Peru, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica and more. They keep their meat extremely fresh and wait to cut it until the customer comes in.
